We grow flowers and foliage from our meadow, hedges and flower beds in Ingleby Greenhow. We provide DIY buckets of seasonal flowers and also create natural bouquets and posies to order, April to October. We work with florists to increase the use of sustainably grown flowers. Pick your own is available by appointment.
You choose the colours.
We avoid single-use plastic and reuse clean glass jars, or brown Kraft paper with twine ties for your flowers.
For those who want a fuller arrangement for a special occasion we can provide beautiful bouquets of seasonal flowers, foliage, grasses, seedheads and berries to a colour scheme of your choice, all grown here at Songbird Meadow.
We’d love to hear from you to discuss your requirements and ideas.
Each arrangement is bespoke, please visit our 'Flowers to Order' webpage for more details.
We are pesticide and herbicide free.
We grow many native species and avoid those with double flowers which are often sterile and do not need pollinating.
We can deliver within a 5 mile radius of Ingleby Greenhow, the village where Songbird Meadow Flower Farm is situated. Alternatively why not combine a visit to our lovely area or a refreshment stop at The Dudley Arms and it’s Cafe 1756 in the village, with collection of your order.
We use many techniques to work with nature, including peat-free compost, no-dig beds, leaving some long grass and growing native species which have lots of blossom, seeds and berries.
Roses, sweet peas, mint, an abundance of colours and scent
Dahlias take centre stage
Cosmos, roses, astrantia, antirrhinum, all looking beautiful until the first hard frost or stormy weather.
